The Palace and Park Complex in Ostromecko is a unique architectural composition that combines the beauty of a classic palaces with a picturesque park, creating a unique space with a historical character. Located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, this complex is one of the most important monuments in the region, attracting lovers of architecture, history and art.

The Old Palace, built in the 18th century, is an example of the classicizing palace style. Built in the late Baroque period, it is characterized by symmetry and simplicity of form, which is typical of this period. Its elevation is decorated with delicate architectural details that give the palace an elegant but subdued character. The interiors of this palace are spacious, and many of them have retained the original decor from the 18th and 19th centuries, with richly decorated ceilings, with elements of stucco and paintings, and original furniture that emphasize the history of the palace and its former owners. This is where one of the most important collections of antique pianos from the Andrzej Szwalbe collection is located.
The New Palace, built a bit later, is a more elaborate architectural structure, with clear elements of the neo-Gothic and romantic styles. In contrast to the Old Palace, the New Palace is distinguished by more elaborate details, such as turrets, decorative cornices and arched windows. The New Palace also has rich interiors that combine elements of classicism and neo-Gothic style, with exceptional attention to detail in the finishing.

The palaces also differed functionally - the Old Palace was mainly the residence of the owners, while the New Palace also served representative functions. The New Palace is more monumental in its form, with a more elaborate spatial layout, while the Old Palace is simpler but equally elegant.

Apart from the palaces, the complex is surrounded by a picturesque landscape park, which is a perfect complement to the palace architecture. The park is a recreational space where you can admire carefully planned alleys, ponds and fountains, which create a harmonious whole with the historic buildings. The vegetation, including ancient trees and flowering shrubs, creates a wonderful atmosphere of peace and nature, ideal for walks and relaxation.

The Palace and Park Complex in Ostromecko is an excellent example of combining history, architecture and nature, at the same time constituting a space that can be used for various cultural events, exhibitions, concerts or meetings.
